यतः प्रवृत्तिर्भूतानां येन सर्वमिदं ततम्। स्वकर्मणा तमभ्यर्च्य सिद्धिं विन्दति मानवः॥
What does Bhagavad Gita 18.46 mean?
By worshiping, through one's own natural duties, that Supreme from whom all beings have come forth and by whom this entire world is pervaded, a person attains the highest perfection.

It is not necessary to give up work to please God. Whether you are a doctor, a student, or an artist, doing your work with complete honesty and a spirit of service is itself the greatest prayer.
