Selfless Action
तस्मादसक्तः सततं कार्यं कर्म समाचर। असक्तो ह्याचरन्कर्म परमाप्नोति पूरुषः॥
What does Bhagavad Gita 3.19 mean?
Therefore, always perform your duty without attachment. For one who acts without attachment attains the Supreme.
How can I apply Gita 3.19 in daily life?
Attachment means thinking 'this work is mine' or 'I must have its fruit.' When we set aside this 'I' and work simply out of a sense of duty, the mind becomes light. This is the simple path to liberation.
Krishna's teaching
Krishna says: just perform your action, but let go of the feeling that 'I alone have done all this.'
Affirmation
Letting go of the ego of doership, I live believing that everything is happening by the grace of God, and I dwell in that feeling.
