Detached Living

ब्रह्मण्याधाय कर्माणि सङ्गं त्यक्त्वा करोति यः। लिप्यते न स पापेन पद्मपत्रमिवाम्भसा॥

What does Bhagavad Gita 5.10 mean?

One who offers all their actions to the Supreme and acts without attachment remains untouched by sin, just as a lotus leaf remains unwetted even while resting on water.

How can I apply Gita 5.10 in daily life?

Live in the world, work, and honor your relationships, but always stay connected to God in your heart. When you give up the feeling of 'mine' and adopt the feeling of 'God's,' the evils of life can no longer touch you.

Krishna's teaching

A person who offers all their actions to God and gives up attachment to their fruits remains untouched by the bondage of action, just as a lotus leaf remains untouched by water.

Affirmation

I perform each of my actions with complete dedication, and letting go of attachment to the outcome, I offer my actions to God.
