The Art of Action

बुद्धियुक्तो जहातीह उभे सुकृतदुष्कृते। तस्माद्योगाय युज्यस्व योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्॥

What does Bhagavad Gita 2.50 mean?

The wise person gives up the fruits of both good and bad deeds even in this life. Therefore, engage in yoga, for skill in action is yoga.

How can I apply Gita 2.50 in daily life?

Merely acting is not enough in life; action must be done with the right wisdom, balance, and awareness. When attachment in action decreases and the intellect stays steady, action no longer becomes a source of bondage.

Krishna's teaching

Krishna teaches that acting with wisdom and balance is itself karma yoga. One should act skillfully, rising above attachment to success, failure, or good and bad results.

Affirmation

I carry out each of my actions with wisdom, focus, and balance. Freed from attachment to results, I give my very best in everything I do.
