Chain of Thoughts

ध्यायतो विषयान्पुंसः सङ्गस्तेषूपजायते। सङ्गात् संजायते कामः कामात्क्रोधोऽभिजायते॥

What does Bhagavad Gita 2.62 mean?

By repeatedly dwelling on the objects of the senses, attachment to them develops. From attachment arises desire, and from unfulfilled desire, anger is born.

How can I apply Gita 2.62 in daily life?

Wherever our mind goes, our energy flows. If we keep dwelling on negative thoughts or uncontrolled desires, they will breed restlessness and anger within us. Staying aware and consciously directing our thoughts is the solution.

Krishna's teaching

Krishna teaches that anger is not some outer enemy, but the result of a chain of our own thoughts.

Affirmation

I turn my thoughts toward love and light.
