Consequence of Anger
क्रोधाद्भवति संमोहः संमोहात्स्मृतिविभ्रमः। स्मृतिभ्रंशाद् बुद्धिनाशो बुद्धिनाशात्प्रणश्यति॥
What does Bhagavad Gita 2.63 mean?
Anger gives rise to delusion. Delusion weakens memory. When memory weakens, the intellect is destroyed, and when the intellect is destroyed, the person themselves is destroyed.
How can I apply Gita 2.63 in daily life?
Words spoken in anger often turn into regret later. This verse reminds us that a single moment of anger can affect many relationships and decisions.
Krishna's teaching
Krishna teaches that mastering the mind matters more than conquering the outer world. Only a calm mind can make the right decision.
Affirmation
When anger arises in me, I do not react immediately. I pause, become calm, and then respond thoughtfully.
