Mastery of Life
इहैव तैर्जितः सर्गो येषां साम्ये स्थितं मनः। निर्दोषं हि समं ब्रह्म तस्माद्ब्रह्मणि ते स्थिताः॥
What does Bhagavad Gita 5.19 mean?
Those whose minds are established in equanimity have already conquered this world, right here. Since the Supreme is flawless and impartial, they too are established in the Supreme.
How can I apply Gita 5.19 in daily life?
True knowledge gives us equal vision. When we rise above outer distinctions and see the same one soul in all beings, discrimination begins to disappear from our mind, and we experience true equality and peace in life.
Krishna's teaching
Krishna teaches that one whose mind has become steady in equanimity has already crossed the bondage of birth and death in this very life. Because the ultimate truth exists equally in all, the wise see a scholar, a cow, an elephant, a dog, or any being not with discrimination, but with equal vision.
Affirmation
Rising above outer differences, I try to see the same one Supreme reality in every being. I hold a view of equality, respect, and evenness of mind toward all.
