Constant Remembrance
तस्मात्सर्वेषु कालेषु मामनुस्मर युध्य च। मय्यर्पितमनोबुद्धिर्मामेवैष्यस्यसंशयम्॥
What does Bhagavad Gita 8.7 mean?
Therefore, remember Me at all times and carry out your duty of battle as well. Offering your mind and intellect unto Me, you will surely attain Me alone.
How can I apply Gita 8.7 in daily life?
If we wish to attain the Supreme, it is not necessary to renounce the world; while fulfilling our duties, we should keep remembering God at all times. When our mind and intellect become surrendered to God, every journey of life brings us closer to Him.
Krishna's teaching
Krishna teaches that whatever feeling and thought a person practices constantly settles deep within their mind, and that very thought arises at the final moment too. So one should fix one's mind on the remembrance of the Supreme throughout life, while faithfully carrying out one's duties.
Affirmation
Whether eating, sleeping, waking, or moving about, the sacred remembrance of Krishna continuously remains on my mind and tongue. I carry out my duties while offering each of my actions to Him.
