Consequence of Hatred

तानहं द्विषतः क्रूरान्संसारेषु नराधमान्। क्षिपाम्यजस्रमशुभानासुरीष्वेव योनिषु॥

What does Bhagavad Gita 16.19 mean?

Those who are full of hatred, cruel, and the lowest among men, I repeatedly cast them into demonic wombs in this world.

How can I apply Gita 16.19 in daily life?

This verse is a warning. When we make hatred and violence our nature, we trap ourselves in the web of sorrow and ignorance. Adopting divine qualities is the way to escape this darkness.

Krishna's teaching

Krishna says that hatred, cruelty, and unrighteous conduct lead a person toward ruin. Therefore, one who wishes for the welfare of their own life should hold hatred toward no one, and should stay away from sinful deeds and walk the path of righteousness and virtue.

Affirmation

In place of hatred, anger, and unrighteousness, I hold friendship, love, and compassion toward all. I strive to walk the path of righteousness and virtue through my thoughts, speech, and actions.
